Gangwon Province Seeks Participants for the "2026 Fund Project"
Online Applications via the Local Subsidy Management System (Botaem-e)
For Women's Organizations, Non-Profit Corporations, and Non-Profit Private Organizations
Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province announced that it will publicly recruit organizations to participate in the "2026 Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Gender Equality Fund Support Project," with a total budget of 200 million won, from December 22, 2025 to January 14, 2026.
This open call aims to realize a truly gender-equal society created together by women and men. It is divided into five categories for planned projects and four categories for general projects.
The five planned project categories are: ▲ Gender equality participation and education programs for people in their teens and twenties ▲ Education to foster healthy families ▲ Promotion of women-friendly cities ▲ Digital sex crime and stalking prevention programs ▲ Creation of a culture of family and social care as well as work-life balance (new).
The four general project categories are: ▲ Promotion of gender equality ▲ Advancement of women's welfare and rights ▲ Development of women's capabilities and expansion of social participation ▲ Welfare for vulnerable groups and enhancement of family functions.
Eligible applicants are women's organizations or non-profit corporations and non-profit private organizations located in Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province as of the announcement date.
The funding scale varies by project type and content: for planned projects, 10 million to 30 million won per project; for general projects, 5 million to 10 million won per project.
Applicants must cover at least 5% of the total project cost with their own funds, and each corporation or organization may apply for only one project.
Additional points (around 10 points) will be awarded for the discovery of innovative new projects that are not annual repeat projects.
Organizations wishing to participate can download the application forms from the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province website or the Local Subsidy Management System, complete them, and submit them online through the respective system.

The final selection results will be announced on the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province website around the end of February 2026.
