This project involved installing LED landscape lighting along both sides of the bridge’s railings, covering a total length of 140 meters. The aim is to create a beautiful urban nightscape and, at the same time, improve the visibility of the bridge structure to help prevent nighttime traffic accidents.
Samhwagyo Bridge is a major passageway for tourists visiting Mureung Valley and Mureung Byeolyucheonji. With the new landscape lighting, the nighttime environment for both pedestrians and vehicles has been improved, and accessibility to these tourist destinations is also expected to increase.
Lee Dalhyeong, Head of Construction, stated, “We believe that the installation of landscape lighting at Samhwagyo Bridge will further enhance the city’s nighttime scenery while also contributing to the safety of both citizens and tourists. We will continue to make ongoing efforts to create a safe and pleasant road environment.”
