GS Engineering & Construction announced on December 22 that it has been selected as an excellent company in the Fair Trade Compliance Program (CP) for the third consecutive year.
On December 19, GS Engineering & Construction was recognized as an excellent company (AA grade) in this year's CP rating assessment at the "2025 CP Forum" held by the Korea Fair Trade Mediation Agency at the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jung-gu, Seoul. The company has achieved the excellent grade for three consecutive years since 2023.
The CP is a system introduced by the Fair Trade Commission in 2001 to enhance compliance and ethical awareness, prevent legal violations, and promote the spread and internalization of a culture of fair trade compliance. The CP rating assessment evaluates companies' CP operations to select outstanding companies and provide incentives. Companies selected as excellent receive incentives such as reductions in fines.
GS Engineering & Construction has made efforts to prevent violations of relevant laws through annual internal CP training and operational inspections. In particular, starting this year, the company has developed and is operating an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot that allows employees to search and utilize the compliance manual, aiming to improve the efficiency of internal CP operations.
A GS Engineering & Construction representative stated, "Based on the strong commitment and active support of top management for CP implementation, we have achieved the excellent grade (AA) for three consecutive years since the 2023 CP rating assessment," adding, "We will continue to expand our CP activities based on the company's core value of ethical management and strive to further advance the Fair Trade Compliance Program."
