Nanosilicon Advanced Materials (hereinafter referred to as Nanosilicon) is set to begin full-scale commercialization of its next-generation silicon anode material, which boasts unrivaled price competitiveness.
On December 22, Nanosilicon announced that it has recently signed separate non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) with each of the three major domestic battery cell makers (all leading global companies) and has entered a substantive stage of collaboration.
The company stated, "This partnership proves that Nanosilicon's technology meets global standards," adding, "We are currently in discussions to proceed with sample testing with the three domestic companies as soon as possible." The company further explained, "The established mass production facility has a capacity of 600 tons, which is expected to serve as a key milestone in securing stable, large-scale supply channels."
Nanosilicon's "high-performance silicon anode material" not only dramatically improves energy density and lifespan compared to existing products, but also secures industry-leading, exceptional price competitiveness. After completing technical verification through research labs and pilot facilities, the company has built a mass production line capable of producing 600 tons annually and is now fully prepared for commercial operation.
As securing cost-effective batteries has become the industry's top priority in overcoming the temporary demand stagnation (chasm) in the electric vehicle market, Nanosilicon's product is drawing attention for its unique market competitiveness, achieved through a non-grinding silicon anode material process.
A company representative emphasized, "Through close cooperation with global top-tier cell makers, we aim to become a game changer in the next-generation secondary battery materials market."
