Dunamu, the operator of the virtual asset exchange Upbit, announced on December 22 that it held the launching ceremony for the 4th class of its university student team supporter program, 'UpTo,' at Monaco Space in Gangnam on December 19.
The 4th class of UpTo saw 129 teams apply, resulting in a highly competitive 13-to-1 acceptance rate, with 10 teams ultimately selected. The ceremony included the awarding of supporter appointment certificates, the distribution of welcome gifts, a team networking program, and a basic blockchain education session.
Under the slogan "Team Up For The Next Block," the 4th class of UpTo will carry out a variety of activities to promote Upbit. This year's program operates on a team basis, with each team completing both group and individual missions. The activities will focus on creating content to raise awareness of Upbit’s investor protection efforts and safe digital asset trading culture, with a range of initiatives planned both online and offline.
The 4th class of UpTo will be active for about four months, starting with the launching ceremony and continuing until April next year. Outstanding participants and teams will be awarded a total of 12 million won in prizes and given the opportunity to participate in an experiential internship at Upbit. Outstanding content will be released through Upbit Investor Protection Center’s social media channels.
An Upbit representative stated, "UpTo is a flagship university student participation program aimed at creating a safer and more transparent digital asset trading environment together with the younger generation," adding, "We expect that a variety of creative and innovative content produced by young people will play a significant role in sharing Upbit’s news and activities."
