Two First-Prize Tickets at One Store, Five Second-Prize Tickets at Another
Winners Emerge in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province and Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province

In the 1,203rd Lotto draw, two first-prize winning tickets were sold at a single store in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, drawing significant attention. According to Donghaeng Lottery, the lottery operator, on December 21, the winning numbers for the 1,203rd Lotto draw were '3, 6, 18, 29, 35, 39,' and the bonus number was '24.' There were 21 first-prize winners who matched all six numbers, each receiving a prize of 1,368,060,000 won. There were 118 second-prize winners who matched five numbers plus the bonus number, each receiving 40,570,000 won.

The regions where first-prize tickets were sold in the 1,203rd Lotto draw are as follows: Gyeonggi Province (9 winners: 5 automatic, 3 manual, 1 semi-automatic), South Gyeongsang Province (1 manual), Busan (1 manual), Incheon (1 manual), Daegu (2 automatic), North Jeolla Province (2 automatic), South Jeolla Province (1 manual), Gangwon Province (2: 1 automatic, 1 manual), and Ulsan (2 automatic).

This Is a 'Lucky Lottery Spot'... Two First-Prize Tickets at the Same Store

In particular, at a lottery store located on Hyeoksin-ro in Deokjin-gu, Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, two first-prize winning tickets were sold through 'automatic' purchases, attracting attention. When multiple winning tickets are sold automatically at the same location, it is likely that different individuals won. In contrast, when consecutive wins occur through manual selection, it is often the same person.

Five Second-Prize Tickets Also Sold at the Same Store

An unusual result also occurred for the second-prize winners. At a store in Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province, five second-prize tickets were sold. If a single person purchased all five, the total prize would amount to 202,850,000 won.

The deadline to claim lottery winnings is one year from the start date of payment (or the next business day if the final day falls on a holiday). If the last day to claim the prize is a holiday, winners may collect their prize on the next business day. Unclaimed winnings after the deadline are transferred in full to the lottery fund in accordance with the Lottery and Lottery Fund Act and are used for public interest projects.
