In the 1,203rd Lotto draw, two first-prize winning tickets were sold at a single lottery retailer in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, drawing significant attention. According to Donghaeng Lottery, the lottery operator, on December 21, the winning numbers for the 1,203rd Lotto draw were "3, 6, 18, 29, 35, 39," with the bonus number being "24." There were 21 first-prize winners who matched all six numbers, each receiving 1,368,060,000 won. There were 118 second-prize winners, who matched five main numbers plus the bonus number, with each receiving 40,570,000 won.

The regions where first-prize tickets for the 1,203rd Lotto draw were sold are as follows: Gyeonggi Province (9 winners: 5 automatic, 3 manual, 1 semi-automatic), South Gyeongsang Province (1 manual), Busan (1 manual), Incheon (1 manual), Daegu (2 automatic), North Jeolla Province (2 automatic), South Jeolla Province (1 manual), Gangwon Province (2: 1 automatic, 1 manual), and Ulsan (2 automatic).

This Is a 'Lucky Lottery Spot'... Two First-Prize Tickets from the Same Retailer

In particular, a lottery retailer on Hyeoksin-ro in Deokjin-gu, Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, sold two first-prize tickets through automatic selection, drawing attention. When multiple jackpots are won at the same location through automatic selection, it is likely that different individuals won. In contrast, if multiple wins occur consecutively through manual selection, it is often the same person.

Five Second-Prize Tickets Also Sold at the Same Retailer

An unusual result was also seen for the second prize. At a retailer in Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province, five second-prize tickets were sold. If a single person purchased all five, the total prize would amount to 202,850,000 won.

The deadline to claim lottery winnings is one year from the payment start date (or the next business day if the deadline falls on a holiday). If the final day to claim the prize is a holiday, winners can collect their prize by the following business day. Unclaimed winnings after the deadline are transferred in full to the lottery fund in accordance with the Lottery and Lottery Fund Act and are used for public interest projects.
