5th High-Level Party-Government Council Held
"National Affairs Report More Popular Than Dramas"
The Party-Government-Presidential Office coalition (Party-Government-Presidential Office) attended the 5th High-Level Party-Government Council and pledged to continue working together to address complex livelihood issues in the new year.

On the 21st, Jeong Cheongrae, Leader of the Democratic Party, emphasized at the 5th High-Level Party-Government Council held in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, "To overcome the 12·3 Martial Law and to achieve both the eradication of the remnants of rebellion and reforms for people's livelihoods, the Party-Government-Presidential Office will unite as one and do our utmost." He added, "We must value every minute and second, tighten our shoelaces, and move closer to history and the people so that the Lee Jaemyung administration can fulfill its historic responsibilities."
He stated, "The Party-Government-Presidential Office has worked tirelessly for the historic responsibility of eradicating the remnants of rebellion and for the people's aspiration for the recovery of livelihoods," and continued, "Since the launch of the Lee Jaemyung administration, the Korea Composite Stock Price Index has risen from 2,700 points to 4,000 points, and there are high expectations that it will rise further."
He further argued, "It is often said that the economy is about sentiment and trust, and this is an indicator that the nation is being normalized and public expectations for the Lee Jaemyung administration are high," adding, "Politics, diplomacy, and security are also on the path to normalization."
He also mentioned the recent attention surrounding the Presidential Office's national affairs work report. He remarked, "These days, it is more popular and talked about than any drama," and evaluated, "The public, who used to see pre-arranged and refined announcements, can now learn the direction of national affairs through live broadcasts, and can vividly follow the progress of detailed matters."
The government and the Presidential Office also reiterated the 'One Team' stance of the Party-Government-Presidential Office. Prime Minister Kim Minseok said in his opening remarks, "In the new year as well, the Party-Government-Presidential Office will work responsibly and united as one to bring hope to the lives of the people."
Kang Hunsik, Chief Presidential Secretary, emphasized, "Over the past six months, the Party-Government-Presidential Office has coordinated complex and difficult issues as one team through the High-Level Party-Government Council, and in the new year, we will cooperate even more closely and respond to the public with changes that can be felt as a leap beyond recovery."
