Goyang Special City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Donghwan) has expressed its gratitude to related organizations that are dedicated to regional security and the safety of its citizens as the year draws to a close.

On December 18, Goyang Special City announced that it held the "Year-End Appreciation Fund Presentation Ceremony for Related Organizations" at the Baekseok Annex of Goyang City Hall, attended by representatives from five military units and two fire stations.

This ceremony was organized to encourage and boost the morale of military personnel and firefighters who work tirelessly on the front lines to defend the nation and respond to disasters, even during the cold winter months.

Every year at the end of the year, Goyang Special City continues to hold appreciation events for related organizations within the city that quietly fulfill their duties so that citizens can go about their daily lives with peace of mind.

Mayor Lee Donghwan expressed his deep gratitude, stating, "Thanks to the military personnel and firefighters who dedicate themselves day and night to protect the safety of our citizens and the city, even in the harsh winter, Goyang can enjoy a peaceful year-end."
