Participation in Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Safety Inspection Campaign
Daewoo Engineering & Construction announced that it participated in the "Winter Season On-Site Inspection Relay Campaign" organized by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and conducted a safety inspection at the Blanc Summit 74 site in Dong-gu, Busan on the 19th. Shin Donghyuk, Chief Safety and Health Officer (CSO), personally visited the site to inspect the working environment and safety facilities for workers.
Separately, Daewoo Engineering & Construction is also running its own winter safety campaign at all domestic sites for three months, from this month until February next year. The main initiatives include education on preventing cold-related illnesses, a ban on the use of fossil fuels during concrete curing, and restrictions on outdoor work according to the level of cold wave advisories.

Earlier, CEO Kim Bohyun of Daewoo Engineering & Construction declared a "Safety-First Management" policy in a special CEO address in July. Accordingly, the company has banned unauthorized and unplanned work and strengthened accident prevention activities. The number of cases where workers exercised their "right to stop work" upon detecting danger is expected to increase significantly from 130,000 last year to about 200,000 this year.
A Daewoo Engineering & Construction official stated, "This year, the CEO and CSO have conducted 155 on-site safety inspections," adding, "We will take the lead in establishing a safety-first management culture."
