The Korea Web Service Innovation Awards, hosted by the Korea Internet Professionals Association, is an event where a panel of around 4,000 experts in the domestic internet and digital services sector evaluates and selects websites that have provided outstanding and innovative web services throughout the year.

This year, Opinet was highly rated for its intuitive user interface that allows users to easily compare and understand oil price information at a glance; its technical excellence, ensuring stable operation across various browser environments; its content focused on public convenience, such as nationwide gas station prices, locations, and additional services; and its efforts to increase service awareness and usability through various campaigns.

In particular, Korea National Oil Corporation is currently working on upgrading the Opinet application to enhance its performance and design, with plans to release the revamped application in January next year. Through this upgrade, the corporation aims to improve the accessibility and usability of the Opinet application and introduce new features such as a big data-based gas station recommendation service.

Shim Jae-su, Head of the Smart Data Center at Korea National Oil Corporation, stated, "This award recognizes that Opinet has evolved beyond a simple oil price information service into an AI-based, user-customized platform. We will continue to advance our services centered on public convenience to establish a transparent distribution structure in the domestic oil market and to stabilize consumer prices."
