With this agreement as a starting point, the three institutions plan to establish a strategic cooperation system to enhance intellectual property competitiveness in the era of digital and AI transformation, and to jointly pursue projects encompassing intellectual property creation, dispute resolution, and talent development.

In addition, each institution will designate a responsible department and form a consultative body to ensure that the agreement is effectively implemented.

Kim Yongseon, Director of the Intellectual Property Office, stated, "This agreement is significant in that it establishes a comprehensive cooperation framework among the Intellectual Property Office, KAIST, and the Patent Court," adding, "Based on this agreement, the Intellectual Property Office will focus on further strengthening the creation and protection system for intellectual property in line with the era of digital and AI transformation."
