Dong-Eui University will conduct its regular admissions for freshmen for the 2026 academic year from December 29 to 6:00 p.m. on December 31. The finalized number of students to be admitted through the regular admissions process, reflecting the number of students carried over from the early admissions, will be announced on the Dong-Eui University Admissions Office website on December 28.

Dong-Eui University's regular admissions are divided into the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT)-based track and the performance/achievement-based track. The CSAT-based general student track, which selects successful applicants solely based on 100% CSAT scores, recruits students in all three groups: 'Ga', 'Na', and 'Da', depending on the department.

For the performance/achievement-based track, the Department of Music, Department of Design and Formative Arts, Department of Leisure Sports, and Department of Taekwondo are assigned to the 'Ga' group, while the Department of Physical Education is assigned to the 'Na' group. Successful applicants are selected based on 30% CSAT scores and 70% performance scores. The Department of Sports Coaching in the 'Na' group considers 18% from the school record, 12% from attendance, and 70% from documents.

For the reflection of CSAT scores, all departments of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, College of Business and Economics, College of Medical, Health, and Life Sciences, College of Korean Medicine, College of Engineering, College of Software Convergence, as well as the Department of Fashion Design, Department of Film, K-Beauty Department, and the Interdisciplinary Major, each reflect 25% for Korean, Mathematics, English, and Inquiry.

For the Department of Music, Department of Design and Formative Arts, Department of Physical Education, Department of Leisure Sports, and Department of Taekwondo in the College of Arts, Design, and Physical Education, the top three subjects among Korean, Mathematics, English, and Inquiry are each reflected at 33.33%. In particular, for the College of Medical, Health, and Life Sciences, College of Engineering, and College of Software Convergence, applicants who take Calculus or Geometry in Mathematics will receive an additional 10% of their standard Mathematics score as a bonus.

The special admissions track in the 'Na' group is only open to students carried over from early admissions and applicants may apply even if they have not taken the CSAT. For the Rural Students Track and Specialized High School Track, 100% of the evaluation is based on school records. For the Early Employment Contract Department Track, the first stage is 100% school records and the second stage is 100% interview. For the Lifelong Learner Track and Adult Learner Track, 100% of the evaluation is based on documents.

Lee Eog-weon, Director of Admissions at Dong-Eui University, said, "By utilizing the admissions prediction program, which is operated based on the results of the past three years including last year's admissions results and is available on the Dong-Eui University admissions website, applicants can develop more effective application strategies.
