The newly established Startup Hub Center, located at 111 Magokjungang-ro, has a total area of 489 square meters (approximately 148 pyeong). It features seven office spaces for resident companies, a meeting room, a lounge, and other shared spaces designed to facilitate networking and collaboration among businesses.
The center is open to aspiring entrepreneurs based in Gangseo District and early-stage startups within seven years of founding. The district held a public recruitment and review by an operations committee, ultimately selecting a total of seven companies. The chosen resident companies possess outstanding technological capabilities and growth potential across various fields, including AI-based solutions, manufacturing, information and communications, and lighting device development.
Through the Startup Hub Center, the district not only provides affordable and stable workspaces but also offers comprehensive support throughout the entire startup lifecycle, including entrepreneurship education, expert mentoring, management and technology consulting, investment connections, and customized scaling-up programs tailored to each stage of growth, thereby facilitating the tangible growth of resident companies.
The district expects that companies nurtured at the center will settle stably in the region and create quality jobs, thereby expanding youth employment and invigorating the local economy.
Jin Gyohun, Mayor of Gangseo District, stated, "The Startup Hub Center is a public startup hub designed to help startups take root and achieve sustainable growth in the region. We will do our utmost to provide effective support and systematic operations so that the growth of startups leads to job creation and an improved quality of life for residents."
