The district conducted an online vote from November 26 to December 10 on the projects that resonated most and were loved by residents throughout 2025, and announced the results. A record-high total of 7,003 residents participated in this year's vote, reflecting strong interest in district affairs.
The video that took first place is an 8-second 'Back to Everyday Life-Cleaning Task Force' short, showing environmental officers cleaning up after the Seoripul Music Festival. As of November 25, the video had reached 5.85 million views (5.94 million as of December 18), with 31,000 likes and 681 comments, earning widespread sympathy and support from netizens.
The second place went to the 'Seoripul Music Festival, which attracted 250,000 visitors.' Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the Seoripul Music Festival transformed a 900-meter section of Banpo-daero into a stage, showcasing genres from classical and jazz to K-POP and Korean traditional music. With world-renowned soprano Sumi Jo gracing the event, 250,000 people attended over two days.
The third place was awarded to the 'Goter Sebit Tourism District Leaps to Global Tourist Destination.' Designated as Seoul's only tourism district along the Han River in December last year, the 'Goter Sebit Tourism District' has been developed as a complex space where visitors can enjoy water leisure, relaxation, culture, shopping, and gourmet experiences all in one place.
The fourth place went to 'Seocho, the City with the Highest Quality of Life, Brand Soaring High,' while the fifth place was 'Expansion of Alley-Type Shopping Districts & Alley Business District Revitalization Project.' Jeon Seong-su, Mayor of Seocho District, said, "I deeply appreciate the empathy and interest of residents in the various projects we have promoted this year together with about 1,900 fellow public officials," adding, "In the coming year of 2026, we will continue to listen and respond to the voices of our residents, doing our utmost to make living in Seocho a source of pride."
