On December 18, Seoul Suseo Police Station announced that it had signed a "Telecommunication Financial Fraud Prevention Business Agreement (MOU)" with BNK Kyongnam Bank to prevent voice phishing crimes.

This agreement was established to prevent voice phishing damage and to build a rapid response system in the event of an incident. Suseo Police Station will share information on financial fraud trends, crime methods, and crime prevention manuals, while BNK Kyongnam Bank will strengthen monitoring of suspicious accounts and transactions and establish a hotline.
A police official stated, "Through this agreement, we will strengthen our cooperative system with BNK Kyongnam Bank and actively engage in activities to prevent voice phishing crimes."
