The Offshore Wind Power Business Division of Korea Electric Power Corporation carried out a warm sharing initiative in the local community of Sinan County, South Jeolla Province, ahead of the year-end cold wave.

According to Sinan County, on December 18, executives and employees from the Offshore Wind Power Business Division of Korea Electric Power Corporation visited five social welfare facilities and sister villages within the county, delivering customized daily necessities and participating in environmental cleanup volunteer activities.

This initiative was organized as part of Korea Electric Power Corporation's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management, aiming to support vulnerable groups in the local community and fulfill the company's social responsibility.

On this day, the company's executives and employees visited welfare facilities, including the Sinan County Senior Nursing Home, and delivered essential items such as rice and toilet paper. Afterwards, they moved to Jeonjangpo Village in Imja-myeon, where they worked hard to clean up the environment around the welfare facilities.

Korea Electric Power Corporation has continued to promote practical welfare improvements and mutual cooperation activities that local residents can truly feel through ongoing exchanges with its sister villages.

Kang Bongwan, Head of the Offshore Wind Power Business Division at Korea Electric Power Corporation, stated, "As the weather has become much colder, we prepared this event in hopes that local seniors and neighbors can have a warmer year-end," adding, "We will continue to listen to the voices of the community and carry out sincere sharing activities going forward."

A county official also expressed, "We are deeply grateful to the executives and employees of Korea Electric Power Corporation for visiting the field every year and practicing warm sharing and volunteer service," and added, "Such mutual cooperation activities are a great source of strength for the local community."
