Recognized for Overall Performance in Collection and Delinquency Management of School Site Burden Charges
Gimpo City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Byungsoo) announced on December 18 that it has been selected as an outstanding institution in the "Evaluation of Outstanding Cities and Counties in School Site Burden Management," organized by Gyeonggi Province.
This evaluation was based on overall performance in the management of school site burden charges, including the total amount collected, the collection rate compared to the amount levied, and delinquency management. The city has systematically managed work related to school site burden charges to stably secure funds for the construction of new schools and the improvement of educational environments. These achievements were comprehensively reflected in this evaluation.
In particular, the city has supported the securing of school sites and the expansion of educational facilities through cooperation with relevant agencies, while maintaining stability throughout the entire burden charge management process. These operational results have led to tangible improvements in the educational environment for students and parents, contributing to increased trust throughout the local community.
