Gwangju Employers Federation and Chosun University Hold 'HR Talent Forum' to Provide Practical Information for Corporate Professionals

The Gwangju Employers Federation and Chosun University recently held the '2nd G-HR Future Talent Forum,' they announced on December 18.

This forum, attended by more than 70 local corporate HR and finance professionals, was part of the G-HR Forum launched last month. It was organized to provide essential job-related information to corporate practitioners and to establish a practical talent-matching system between universities and businesses.

The event proceeded in the following order: ▲ participant registration and networking ▲ a special lecture by an invited expert (corporate tax-saving strategies) ▲ a briefing on Chosun University's on-site internship program ▲ and a Q&A session.

For the special lecture, tax accountant Kim Dongwoo (full-time professor at Samil PwC Academy) gave a presentation on 'Corporate Tax-Saving Strategies HR and Finance Professionals Should Know.'

Kim provided detailed explanations on key tax information directly related to business management and recruitment practices, including: ▲ strategies for closing corporate accounts and managing financial ratios ▲ R&D tax credits ▲ integrated employment tax credits ▲ and integrated investment tax credits, which drew strong interest from the attendees.

In the second part of the event, Professor Kim Seokhwan of Chosun University took the stage to explain the 'Chosun University Student On-Site Internship Support Program.'

Professor Kim stated, "On-site internships offer students opportunities to apply their major knowledge in practical settings, while providing companies with the most effective recruitment-linked program to secure and verify top talent in advance."

Yang Jinseok, Chairman of the Gwangju Employers Federation, said, "The G-HR Forum goes beyond simply sharing information; it serves as a practical platform where local corporate HR managers and university employment officials can communicate directly to resolve the 'job mismatch' issue." He added, "I hope that the tax strategies discussed and the on-site internship program will enhance management efficiency for companies and provide high-quality job experiences for young people in the region."
