Shinsegae Simon Launches "Tasty Order" F&B Service
Order and Pay via App or QR Code at Your Seat
Aims to Reduce Wait Times and Ease Congestion
Scheduled Expansion to Siheung, Yeoju, and Busan Premium Outlets Early Next Year
Shinsegae Simon announced on December 18 that it has introduced the mobile F&B (food and beverage) ordering service, "Tasty Order," at Paju Premium Outlets.
The Tasty Order service was developed by Shinsegae Simon to address delays and congestion at food and beverage stores during peak dining times on weekends. Previously, customers had to line up and place orders in person at each store, but now they can conveniently place contactless orders via mobile devices.

Customers who wish to use the service can scan the QR code attached to the food court and F&B stores at Paju Premium Outlets or access the Shinsegae Outlets application (app). They can then select their desired store and menu items, and complete payment all at once. Once the order is received and the food is ready, a notification is sent via KakaoTalk. Some stores also offer takeout services.
Tasty Order provides a wide range of options, from stores in the "Taste Village" food court at Paju Premium Outlets to pizza, donuts, beverages, and brunch cafes within the outlet. Non-members can also place orders. For members, there is an ongoing promotion offering a 2,000 won discount on purchases over 20,000 won when entering the discount code "FOOD."
A Shinsegae Simon representative stated, "We plan to roll out this service sequentially at Siheung, Yeoju, and Busan Premium Outlets early next year."
