Humedix Receives Governor's Commendation as Outstanding Organization for "Clean River Social Contribution Project"

Humedix, a member of the Huons Group, has been recognized for its contributions to environmental improvement in collaboration with the local community.

On December 18, Humedix announced that it had been selected as an "Outstanding Organization for the 2025 Clean River Social Contribution Project," organized by the Gyeonggi Province Water Resources Headquarters, and received a commendation from the Governor of Gyeonggi Province on December 17.

The Gyeonggi Province Water Resources Headquarters is promoting the "Clean River Social Contribution Project" to preserve the environment of rivers managed within Gyeonggi Province. Each year, the headquarters evaluates the performance of participating organizations and selects outstanding organizations to receive the Gyeonggi Province Governor's commendation for social contribution and an official plaque.

Since being selected as a participating organization for this project earlier this year, Humedix has been conducting regular environmental cleanup activities, focusing on the Geumto Stream section in Seongnam City.

Humedix employees have engaged in a variety of environmental conservation activities, including plogging, throwing EM (Effective Micro-organisms) mud balls, and removing sources of river pollution to improve water quality. Plogging refers to picking up trash while jogging, and throwing EM mud balls involves mixing beneficial microorganisms with clay and tossing them into the river. In recognition of its contributions to the protection and development of the local community throughout the year, Humedix was selected as an "Outstanding Organization for the 2025 Clean River Social Contribution Project."

Kang Minjong, CEO of Humedix, stated, "This award was made possible by the voluntary and active participation of our employees in improving the local environment," and added, "We will continue to engage in various social contribution activities to preserve the local ecosystem in the future."

Meanwhile, as a result of its continuous efforts across all areas of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) this year, Humedix received an A grade in the "2025 Second Half ESG Evaluation" from the ESG evaluation agency SustinvBest last month.
