Singer-songwriter Song Si-hyun will release a new single, "Listen," on December 18, marking his first new song in 10 years.
Song Si-hyun commented, "'Listen' is a song I wrote and composed myself, containing all the musical and life wisdom I have gained through my experiences." He added, "Please pay close attention to the acoustic sound and live instrumentation." He continued, "Let your imagination run free as you listen to the lyrics. No matter what you imagine, the story of love in this song is even more heartbreaking."
Debuting in 1986 through the Riverside Song Festival, he has written and composed numerous songs, including Lee Sun-hee's "I Always Love You," "Turning the Pages of Memories," and "Winter Sorrow." He has also worked on the soundtracks for films such as "Toemarok," "Youth," and "Marrying the Mafia," as well as the drama "The New Generation Report: Adults Don't Know."
Since the age of 26, Song Si-hyun has taught in university practical music departments, balancing his music career with his role as a professor. He formed the band "Iban (Aicham, A Band at This Age?)" and went on tour, and has produced over 60 original musicals for the stage over the past 25 years. He has also published a collection of poems, continuing his creative pursuits.
