On December 18, Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH) announced that it had donated 300 million won in scholarship funds to the Korea Student Aid Foundation. The scholarship is intended for university students living in LH rental housing. Since 2021, LH has been running this scholarship program in partnership with the foundation. To date, the total cumulative donation has reached 1 billion won, benefiting 500 students. The recipients are university students residing in LH rental housing whose household income is at or below 70% of the median income. Based on household income and academic achievement, 150 students will be selected, each receiving 2 million won in support. Cho Kyungsook, Head of Housing Welfare at LH, stated, "Beyond housing support, we will continue to promote a variety of housing welfare initiatives aimed at ensuring stability and self-reliance for young people."
