Broadcaster Park Narae's ex-boyfriend has been accused of illegally collecting the personal information of managers and handing it over to investigative authorities.
According to the police on December 17, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul has received a complaint regarding the alleged violation of the Personal Information Protection Act by Park Narae's ex-boyfriend, referred to as Mr. A, and others.
On this day, an online community post stated, "Mr. A and unidentified accomplices, including those who aided and abetted, have been reported to the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul to identify all parties involved," adding, "We are announcing that an investigation has been launched today." The poster explained that the complaint was filed to request a thorough investigation into whether the suspicions raised on a YouTube broadcast were true.
Recently, the YouTube channel 'Entertainment President Lee Jinho' reported that, at the time of the theft at Park Narae's residence, Mr. A collected resident registration numbers and addresses from two managers and one stylist, claiming it was for employment contract purposes, and then submitted this information to the police.
The police plan to review the complaint and investigate the details of the case.
