According to the county on the 17th, this year’s selection of return gifts was designed to strengthen local representation and broaden donor choices. Starting next year, a new return gift called the “Ttasum Re-donation Voucher” will be introduced for high-value donors (those donating 300,000 points or more) for the first time.

The “Ttasum Re-donation Voucher” will be operated as a return gift that supports village unity programs, allowing donors to give back to the local community in line with their intentions.

Under the Hometown Love Donation Program, individuals can donate up to 20 million won per year to any local government except the one where they are registered as residents of Wanju County. Donors receive tax deductions and can select return gifts worth up to 30% of their donation.

Donations are used for projects that improve the welfare of local residents, such as supporting vulnerable groups, promoting culture and the arts, and revitalizing the community, following review by the Fund Management Deliberation Committee.

County Governor Yoo Heetae stated, “The Hometown Love Donation Program is an important system that expands the financial resources of local governments and revitalizes the local economy. We have carefully selected return gifts that embody Wanju County’s unique strengths and values, and we expect this will increase donor satisfaction and invigorate the local economy.”
