Enhanced Flavor with Increased Pork Bone Broth Blend
Stronger Garlic Aroma with Freeze-Dried Garlic Powder Seasoning
Paldo announced on December 17 that it has launched 'Sangnamjaramyeon Garlic Yukgaejang' (hereafter referred to as Sangnamjaramyeon).
Sangnamjaramyeon features an increased blend of pork bone broth to emphasize a rich, deep flavor, and includes a freeze-dried garlic powder seasoning packet to enhance the pungent aroma of garlic. The product also contains generous amounts of bok choy and shiitake mushrooms, offering a variety of flavors and textures.
Paldo has selected Lee Jung-hoo of the San Francisco Giants as the brand model for Namjaramyeon, featuring him on the product packaging. The company also plans to hold a promotional event where customers can win a baseball bat autographed by Lee Jung-hoo.
Sangnamjaramyeon will be available for pre-order on Coupang from December 17 to December 25, and will subsequently be rolled out across all distribution channels.
Kim Beomsoo, Head of Marketing at Paldo, stated, "As its name suggests, Sangnamjaramyeon is a premium product boasting a bold and robust flavor profile," adding, "We will continue to research and introduce flavors that our customers prefer."
Meanwhile, since its launch in 2012, Paldo's Namjaramyeon has become the first Paldo ramen to incorporate garlic seasoning into the dough, with cumulative sales surpassing 120 million units.
