Lotte Holds '2025 Diversity Forum'... "Expanding an Inclusive Culture"

"Weave You & Me" conveys the idea that relationships among employees with diverse backgrounds can expand in various directions based on an understanding of diversity, ultimately transforming into a sustainable community.

In line with Chairman Shin Dongbin’s emphasis on the value of diversity, Lotte established the Lotte Group Diversity Charter in 2013, which explicitly states respect for diversity and the elimination of discrimination, and has since worked to spread these values throughout the group. From 2012 to 2020, Lotte organized the WOW Forum (Way of Women) focused on female talent, and since 2021, the forum has expanded its scope to cover gender, generation, disability, and nationality, evolving into the "Diversity Forum."

This year’s event is centered on the need to mutually respect global diversity, including various nationalities and backgrounds, as a foundation for the group’s sustainable growth. The forum will explore diversity management methods and trends at global companies, and share real-life cases and achievements from major overseas subsidiaries such as Lotte Chilsung Beverage and Lotte Mart. At the end of the event, external HR experts and both domestic and international employees will conduct case studies and discussions on global diversity.

Approximately 250 people are expected to attend the forum in person, including Lotte Holdings CEO Ko Jungwook, Lotte Holdings Head of HR Innovation Park Doohwan, HR executives and team leaders from affiliates, internal communications staff, and foreign employees. In addition, about 700 employees from Korea and abroad will participate online. To accommodate the diverse nationalities of participants, an AI-powered real-time interpretation service will be provided.

A Lotte representative stated, "For the group to achieve sustainable growth in the global market, it is essential to foster a culture where talent from diverse backgrounds mutually respects one another," adding, "We will continue to expand a culture that embraces diversity within the group in the four areas of nationality, gender, age, and disability."
