Exploring the Future of Early Childhood Education and Care Through Exemplary Field Cases
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seokjun) will hold the "Early Childhood School Leading Project Performance Sharing Session" on December 18 at the auditorium of the Educational Research and Information Center in Yangjeong-dong, Busanjin-gu.
Approximately 200 participants, including officials from the Office of Education and local governments, as well as kindergarten and daycare center teachers and staff, will attend this event to share the outcomes of the Early Childhood School Leading Project and to explore the future direction of early childhood education and care through exemplary, field-centered cases.
The event will begin with a report on the operational results of the Early Childhood School Leading Project, followed by a special lecture by Professor Im Buyeon of the Department of Early Childhood Education at Pusan National University on the topic, "The Direction of Early Childhood Education Based on Government-Responsible Integration of Education and Care." Presentations of best practices will then be given by Keunbyeol Kindergarten and Hanareum Daycare Center, both leading institutions in the project, as well as Joeun Daycare Center, a customized care hub institution.
Each institution plans to share its practical experiences and operational outcomes from the field, introducing various operational models and case studies aimed at supporting early childhood development.
Kim Seokjun, Superintendent of the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, stated, "This performance sharing session is a meaningful opportunity to review the outcomes of the pilot integration project and to collectively contemplate the direction for qualitative growth in the integration of education and care. We will do our utmost to continuously operate the Early Childhood School Leading Project and to create quality educational and care environments that support the healthy growth of young children."
