The Zero Waste to Landfill verification is a system that evaluates the level of waste resource circulation management. Depending on the recycling rate of waste generated at the workplace, there are three grades: Platinum (99.5%-100%), Gold (95%-less than 99.5%), and Silver (90%-less than 95%).

Kia Autoland Gwangju is undertaking various initiatives to establish a resource-efficient production system by recycling waste generated during processes. As a result of these efforts, it received the Platinum rating for the first time last year and successfully renewed it this year.

A Kia official stated, "We will continue to practice environmentally friendly management and strive to strengthen our resource circulation system."
