Gwangju Jeonnam Accountants Association Donates 10 Million Won to Hope Sharing Campaign The Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Certified Public Accountants Association donated 10 million won in love donations for local neighbors. Provided by Gwangju Community Chest of Korea

The Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (hereafter referred to as Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae) announced on December 16 that the Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Certified Public Accountants Association had donated 10 million won in love donations for local neighbors.


The donation ceremony, held on December 12, was attended by Jeong Byungmin, President of the Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Certified Public Accountants Association, Park Heungcheol, Secretary General of Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae, and other officials.


The donated funds will be used to support low-income neighbors in need of care in the Gwangju area.


The Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Certified Public Accountants Association has been actively engaged in various social contribution activities, such as providing accounting mentoring to social welfare organizations and economic education for middle school students, through talent donations. Since 2003, the association has donated a total of 102 million won through Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae, supporting the operating expenses of child care facilities, medical expenses for patients with rare diseases, and assistance for single mother families and people with developmental disabilities, thereby taking the lead in improving regional welfare.


Jeong Byungmin, President of the Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Certified Public Accountants Association, stated, "Helping neighbors in need in our community is especially meaningful as it puts into practice the spirit of sharing among our accountants," adding, "We will continue to actively contribute to society as a reliable partner in the local community."


Park Heungcheol, Secretary General of Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae, said, "We are deeply grateful to the Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Certified Public Accountants Association for their long-standing support in improving local welfare," and added, "We will do our utmost to ensure that these valuable donations are delivered transparently and effectively to neighbors in need of care."
