Changwon Facilities Corporation announced on December 16 that its transportation service vehicles for the mobility-impaired (Nubicol) received the 'Excellent' grade in the Safe Driving Certification assessment organized by the Korea Road Traffic Authority.
The Safe Driving Certification is a system that certifies traffic safety by implementing the Korea Road Traffic Authority's safe driving program, conducting assessments, and then awarding grades such as 'Excellent', 'Good', and 'Completion' based on a review.
Since February, the corporation has been working with the Ulsan-Gyeongnam branch of the Korea Road Traffic Authority to introduce the certification program in order to prevent traffic accidents and establish a safe traffic culture.
In particular, all 135 Nubicol vehicle drivers participated in the program, which included a driving safety assessment, a driving behavior tendency test, safe driving education, and advanced safe driving training. The corporation focused on enhancing traffic safety and achieved the highest score, earning recognition for its performance.
The Safe Driving Certification is valid for three years, and the corporation plans to continuously maintain the certification through a follow-up management program.
Lee Kyungkyun, Acting President, stated, "With the introduction of this certification, we hope to provide even safer transportation for the mobility-impaired and contribute to the improvement of traffic safety culture."
