This briefing was organized as a follow-up program to the early admission strategy briefing held on August 9, aiming to provide more accurate and practical information on regular admissions to students and parents ahead of the application period after the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT).

Through this event, the city provided an opportunity to deliver admission information connecting early and regular application processes, allowing local students and parents to access reliable admissions information from a public source.

An admissions expert instructor from Gangbuk Megastudy Academy gave a lecture, presenting an analysis focused on the key changes in the 2026 regular admissions process, the proportion of CSAT scores and application criteria by university, analysis of universities available by score range, and strategies for safe, suitable, and ambitious applications-covering the main topics required for regular admissions.

In particular, since each university has different admission criteria and methods of reflecting CSAT subject areas, a strategic approach is necessary. Accordingly, the briefing provided guidance on application strategies tailored to each student's academic performance structure.

Parents who attended the briefing responded that it helped them clarify their approach to regular applications and improved their understanding of how to utilize CSAT scores.

Mayor Kim Donggeun stated, "Since information and strategy are crucial in the admissions process, it is important to provide students and parents with the information they need in a timely manner," adding, "The city will continue to operate various support programs related to career and college admissions in the future."

The city plans to continue supporting students' career planning and college preparation through various educational support programs, such as college admissions briefings and career and admissions consulting.
