This training was designed to cultivate drone utilization skills among employees of public institutions under the city’s jurisdiction, enhance their understanding of the city’s key drone policy initiatives, and strengthen the collaborative framework among related organizations.

The curriculum combined practical and engaging elements, including basic drone theory, aviation safety regulations, flight simulator exercises, hands-on drone operation and aerial photography experiences, as well as team building through drone sports. This approach received a highly positive response from participating employees.

In particular, on this day, the Yangju City Drone Policy Team, in addition to the training, shared updates with the Urban Corporation on the city’s flagship "Drone Delivery Demonstration Project" and the development of a "Digital Twin-Based Control System."

The two organizations agreed to explore ways to integrate drone technology into the Urban Corporation’s core areas of work, such as urban infrastructure management and disaster safety inspections. They also committed to identifying concrete collaboration models for the development of a future smart city.

A Yangju City official stated, "We hope this training will serve as an opportunity to expand Yangju City's excellent drone infrastructure and technological capabilities throughout the entire spectrum of public administrative services, beyond simple experience-based activities." The official added, "We will continue to communicate closely with the Urban Corporation and other related organizations to build a drone demonstration city that citizens can truly experience."

Meanwhile, the Yangju Drone Bot Talent Education Center is leading the way in fostering a drone leisure culture by training drone professionals for the public sector and offering drone education and experience programs for citizens.
