On December 16, SK AX announced the launch of its artificial intelligence (AI)-based Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) integrated service, the "CEO Safety Assurance Package," which systematically prevents and manages serious industrial accidents on worksites.
The "CEO Safety Assurance Package" is an integrated solution that utilizes AI technology to analyze potential risk factors at each site, manage workers’ compliance with safety obligations, and enable immediate response in the event of an accident. SK AX explained that the service was developed in response to the lack of safety management information available to executives, especially as corporate liability for serious accidents is being strengthened.
As the government is pushing forward with the "Serious Accident Reduction Roadmap" to lower the industrial accident fatality rate to the OECD average by 2026, companies face increasing costs for safety management, including stricter risk assessment obligations and expanded requirements for appointing dedicated safety managers. SK AX stated that the CEO Safety Assurance Package enables executives to monitor the status of safety management in real time and proactively manage risk factors.
This service integrates key elements necessary for safety management, including: the "SHE OT (Operation Technology) Solution," which uses vision AI to instantly detect accidents and their causes; the "Risk Dashboard," which provides a comprehensive view of accident status, high-risk tasks, and regulatory compliance for each site; the "Work Permit System," which applies AI-based Job Safety Analysis (JSA); and features that automatically record and report compliance with safety obligations.
It also includes functions that use wearable-based sensors and AI technology to detect and alert real-time risky behaviors or entry into hazardous zones by workers. By linking biometric signal-based health status detection with risk assessment, the system enables the establishment of an integrated safety management framework that covers prediction, response, and improvement.
The CEO Safety Assurance Package was fully developed by Accerton Partners, SK AX’s specialized AX consulting organization, from strategy formulation to design, implementation, and operation. Based on safety management experience and data accumulated at large-scale manufacturing and industrial sites, the company plans to provide a digital safety management standard that can be applied across the industry.
