High-Performance Front Camera Installed
Prices Range from 21.52 to 23.8 Million Won
Hyundai Motor Company launched its flagship small truck, the updated model "2026 Porter II (Porter)," on December 16, 2025. The new model features an improved front camera and enhanced forward collision-avoidance assistance, reflecting upgrades aimed at increasing customer convenience.
The front camera installed in the Porter now has a wider field of view, improving its ability to detect obstacles ahead and enhancing its performance in recognizing lanes and vehicles. The forward collision-avoidance assistance system has expanded its detection range to include cyclists, and for the electric model, the system has been further upgraded to recognize and respond to road boundaries.
The ventilated driver's seat, previously available only on higher trim levels, is now standard across all trims. Additionally, features such as a USB charger, an 8-inch display audio system, and a rearview monitor, which were previously exclusive to the highest trim, are now standard on the Modern trim.
For the Premium trim, features that were previously part of the navigation package-such as the 10.25-inch navigation system, wireless navigation updates, push-button start and smart key, full auto air conditioning, and Hi-Pass-are now included as standard.
The retail prices for the LPG model (2WD Super Cab Extra Long) are 21,520,000 won for the Smart trim, 22,570,000 won for the Modern trim, and 23,800,000 won for the Premium trim. The electric model is priced at 43,500,000 won for the Style Special trim, 44,850,000 won for the Smart Special trim, and 46,450,000 won for the Premium Special trim. With government and local subsidies, the base trim of the electric model is expected to be available for purchase in the high 20 million won range.
To celebrate the launch of the Porter, Hyundai Motor Company is holding a special event in partnership with SK Gas. Starting December 17, customers who purchase the LPG model will receive benefits such as OK Cashback rewards on a portion of their refueling amount when using SK LPG stations, as well as discount coupons for refueling.
A Hyundai Motor Company representative stated, "By equipping the Porter with a front camera that delivers passenger car-level performance, we have enhanced driving safety and equipped the vehicle with features that customers prefer, resulting in outstanding product appeal. We hope customers will show great interest in the newly enhanced Porter."
