This competition was notable for the participation of various local stakeholders, including teachers from Busan Metropolitan City, Silla University students, and Busan citizens. It was designed to actually implement future education models based on the cooperation of education, technology, and the local community. Rather than simply presenting innovative teaching practices, the competition allowed citizens to directly experience and evaluate them, attracting significant attention. It was highly regarded as a new attempt to connect education policy with local engagement.

The competition ensured fairness and professionalism through a systematic evaluation process, separating preliminary and final rounds. The preliminary judging panel included eight local middle and high school teachers, such as Choi Sunhye from Dongsuyeong Middle School. In the final round, one local teacher and eight faculty members from the College of Education at Silla University served as judges, closely evaluating innovative teaching practices from the perspective of actual school settings.

During the preliminary round, a 'sticker voting' event was held at Sasang Station Square, allowing citizens' opinions to be reflected alongside the judges' evaluations. Citizens could review AI and Edutech-based teaching practices and vote for the most impressive ones, which was well received as an open educational platform where citizens, as the consumers of educational content, participated as evaluators of future education.

The competition showcased a variety of practical models for future education, including AI-based lesson design, project-based learning to solve local issues, and cases of using edutech tools in the classroom. Through this, the potential for convergence between theory and practice, as well as between technology and education, was comprehensively examined.

The award results were also noteworthy. Seo Yeji, a student in the Department of English Education at Silla University, received the grand prize in the class demonstration category for effectively enhancing learning comprehension through question-and-interaction-centered teaching techniques. Gong Jiwoo, a student in the Department of Japanese Education, was honored with the grand prize in the AI and Edutech category for utilizing AI to transform teaching methods and improve learning efficiency.

Lee Kyungsun, Dean of the College of Education at Silla University, stated, "This competition was a meaningful occasion that confirmed the real possibilities of future education through the integration of education, technology, and the local community," adding, "We will actively contribute to building a future education ecosystem based on AI and edutech by expanding cooperation with local education offices, schools, and citizens."

Hwang Inju, Head of the RISE Project Group, said, "This is a representative RISE practice case where the university's class innovation capabilities are directly connected to the local educational field," and added, "We will continue to expand educational innovation programs that involve local teachers and citizens to steadily establish a Busan-style future education model."

The College of Education and the RISE Project Group at Silla University plan to continuously expand AI and edutech-based educational innovation programs in collaboration with the local community, and to consistently discover and disseminate practical future education models created together by teachers, university students, and citizens.
