Over 40 Employees Participate
Delivering Warmth to the Community Amid Decreasing Briquette Donations
BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seongbin) carried out the 'Busan Bank Talent Donation Volunteer Group Year-End Love Briquette Sharing' volunteer activity at Maechukji Village in Dong-gu, Busan on December 13.
This initiative was organized to help approximately 500 households in the Busan area that use briquettes to get through the winter.

On this day, about 40 employees from the Busan Bank Talent Donation Volunteer Group participated on-site, delivering warmth to their neighbors by personally carrying briquettes through the alleys.
With briquette donations expected to decrease by up to 40 percent compared to the previous year, Busan Bank's volunteer activity provided tangible support to the local community, going beyond a simple year-end charity event.
The Busan Bank Talent Donation Volunteer Group consists of five teams: Financial Education, Plogging, Digital IT, Global, and Culture & Arts. Based on the voluntary participation of employees, the group continues to carry out various social contribution activities tailored to the needs of the community.
Kim Yongkyu, Head of Management Strategy Group at Busan Bank, said, "We hope to be of some help to neighbors in need of briquettes during the cold winter," adding, "We will continue to pay close attention to local needs and engage in social contribution activities that can be felt in everyday life."
The Busan Bank Talent Donation Volunteer Group has been consistently conducting volunteer activities that leverage employees' expertise, such as Teen MaeKyung TEST financial education, plogging around Godangbong Peak in Geumjeongsan Mountain, and providing digital device usage and voice phishing prevention education for the elderly.
