Kyobo Life Insurance Restructures Organization and Conducts Regular Personnel Changes
Establishes Enterprise AX Support Division
Jungjoongha Shin, Executive Director and third-generation owner of Kyobo Life Insurance, will oversee the group's artificial intelligence (AI) transformation (AX).
On December 15, Kyobo Life Insurance announced a regular personnel reshuffle, appointing Executive Director Jungjoongha Shin, the eldest son of Kyobo Life Insurance CEO and Chairman of the Board Shin Changjae, as Head of Enterprise AX Support and Group Management Strategy.
Kyobo Life Insurance recently established this new organization through a corporate restructuring. Under this division, four executive-level teams have been created: AX Strategy, Business AI Support, AI Technology, and AI Infrastructure.
Executive Director Shin previously oversaw AI utilization and Voice of Customer (VOC) data operations, while also managing group management strategy, new business, and digital sectors. With this organizational restructuring, he will now be responsible for integrating the previously dispersed AI, data, and digital functions into a unified enterprise AX system and overseeing the entire process.
Born in 1981, Executive Director Shin served as Head of Digital Innovation (DX) New Business Team at Kyobo Information & Communication (now Kyobo DTS), and in 2022, he moved to Kyobo Life Insurance to lead the group's digital transformation (DT) initiatives. He was promoted to Executive Director in the regular personnel reshuffle at the end of last year.
