Studying became an experience, and that experience turned into a story.
Youth who completed a year of learning and challenges took the stage.
The Yangsan City Youth Center held the "2025 Yangsan City Youth Center Completion Ceremony and Federation Festival" at the center on December 13, celebrating the end of the year by encouraging the growth of youth who participated in various activities throughout the year.
This event officially recognized the efforts of the youth through the completion ceremony, followed by a federation festival where members of the youth club federation "Donggeodongrak" and the Youth After-School Academy, both affiliated with the Yangsan City Youth Center, had the opportunity to fully showcase their talents and abilities.
The ceremony began with a congratulatory speech from the head of the Women and Youth Division of Yangsan City, followed by the awarding of plaques of recognition to outstanding participants and the presentation of activity certificates.
Lee Seongmi, Head of the Women and Youth Division, stated, "It was a precious time to witness the passion, growth, discovery of potential, and confidence-building among the youth," and added, "I hope today's completion serves as a foundation for your future careers and lives."
After the ceremony, a federation festival with the theme "Christmas Festival at the Enchanted Magic School," prepared by the youth club federation "Donggeodongrak" and the Yangsan City Youth After-School Academy, took place.
The performances were divided into four parts: Part 1 featured a band, Part 2 included theater club and after-school academy plays and musicals, Part 3 showcased singing, and Part 4 presented sign language and dance. These segments highlighted the diverse talents of the youth and received enthusiastic responses from the audience.
Side events included booths for face painting, health massages, eyelash and cubic stone application, bead bracelet making, and Christmas item decorating. There were also a snack bar, photo booth, wish tree, and Polaroid photo zone, providing plenty of enjoyable activities for the youth.
Youth who participated in the festival expressed high satisfaction, saying, "There were many different booths and activities to enjoy, the preparation was thorough, the performances and side events were great, and the various club booths made the festival even richer," "It was nice to see the diverse talents and personalities of the students, and it was a good opportunity to become closer to each other," and "The event was fun, there were more people than expected which was satisfying, and it was meaningful to perform with fellow members at the end; the concept and overall atmosphere were very warm and friendly."
An official from the Yangsan City Youth Center said, "Through this completion ceremony and federation festival, it was meaningful for the youth to look back on their growth over the past year and encourage one another," adding, "We will continue to plan a variety of programs where youth can take the lead and fully demonstrate their talents."
