SB Sunbo, an eco-friendly energy company, received the $50 Million Export Tower Award at the 2025 Busan Trade Day Award Ceremony.
Kim Heetae, Head of Sales Division, was honored with the Prime Minister's Commendation, marking a significant achievement where both the company and its employees were recognized for their contributions at the national level.
SB Sunbo has been expanding its presence in the global market by focusing on high-value-added eco-friendly equipment such as LNG Fuel Gas Supply Systems (FGSS), LNG HP/LP Compressors, and cryogenic piping modules. From July 2024 to June 2025, the company's direct and indirect export volume reached $60 million, representing growth of over 130% compared to two years ago and nearly 160% compared to the previous year.
The company has established a module production system based on the "Unit Package" in collaboration with domestic shipyards and has continued to develop next-generation eco-friendly fuel systems such as LNG, methanol, and ammonia. As global environmental regulations have tightened and demand for eco-friendly equipment has increased, SB Sunbo's products have been exported to major shipbuilding and energy markets in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
In celebration of Trade Day, Kim Heetae, Head of Sales Division at SB Sunbo, received the Prime Minister's Commendation in recognition of his efforts in pioneering overseas markets and increasing exports.
