Walter Cho, Chairman of Hanjin Group, Delivers Encouragement Fund to National Team

Walter Cho, Chairman of Hanjin Group, visited the Jincheon National Training Center on the morning of December 15 and delivered a congratulatory fund of 100 million won. As Vice President of the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee, Chairman Cho presented the fund and expressed his hopes for the national team's success at the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.


On this day, Chairman Cho toured key facilities at the Jincheon National Training Center, including the ice rink, shooting range, weight training center, and medical center. He also encouraged and conversed with national short track speed skating athletes and their coaches during their training.


Since 2017, Chairman Cho has served as President of the Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO). Korean Air, an airline subsidiary of Hanjin Group, operates a men's professional volleyball team and a women's corporate table tennis team, actively contributing to the expansion of the sports industry.
