'Around X' is a global corporate collaboration program operated by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development. By collaborating with leading global companies, it supports the growth of domestic startups and their expansion into overseas markets.

Starting next year, Mercedes-Benz Korea will participate as a partner in 'Around X' and will link its open innovation program, 'Startup Autobahn Korea,' to the initiative. Participating startups will be able to further strengthen their support system, including proof of concept (PoC) design, mentoring, business validation, and overseas networking, based on government funding and specialized programs.

In addition, on December 11, Mercedes-Benz Korea held an 'Expo Day' at the 'ComeUp 2025' event, where it shared the achievements of operating 'Startup Autobahn Korea' and the project development results of five innovative domestic startups selected this year.

Matthias Vaitl, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Korea, stated, "By connecting with the national support system, this will serve as an opportunity for promising domestic startups to further strengthen their foundation for global expansion. As a broader foundation has been established to discover new opportunities for collaboration in the future mobility sector, we will continue to expand and actively support cooperation opportunities with innovative startups."
