GTEP Project Group Performance Report Meeting
Supporting SME Export Growth
University students have achieved notable export results, drawing attention for generating over 100 million won in performance while supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The National Pukyong University Regional Specialized Youth Trade Expert Training (GTEP) Project Group, led by Director Ahn Taegeon, announced on December 15 that, in collaboration with the Busan Economic Promotion Agency, it held the "2025 University Student Trade Support Group Final Performance Report Meeting" at Lotte Hotel Busan on the afternoon of December 10.
The GTEP program is designed to foster global talent equipped with both trade theory and practical field experience. Participating university students actively engage in export support activities for local companies.
This year, a total of 34 students participated as members of the University Student Trade Support Group. Divided into six marketing teams, they presented their achievements from the past year at the event. The students provided support to 17 SMEs, of which 10 companies successfully achieved actual exports. The total export performance amounted to 1.3339 billion won.
The students supported companies by participating in export fairs both domestically and internationally. They attended 35 domestic and overseas fairs, including eight held abroad, where they met with buyers and engaged in marketing and networking activities.
In line with the growing trend of strengthening online promotion, influencer marketing was also carried out. The students collaborated with 33 influencers, including 24 from overseas, to promote the brands of the supported companies. They also assisted in building networks between the supported companies and domestic and international organizations, helping to facilitate the signing of 23 MOUs.
Approximately 50 people attended the performance report meeting, including GTEP Project Director Professor Ahn Taegeon, Hwang Moonseong, Head of the Global Business Promotion Division at the Busan Economic Promotion Agency, and Kang Dayoon, CEO of Nosh Project, a partner company. They encouraged the students and applauded their achievements.
The National Pukyong University GTEP Project Group plans to continue its activities in cooperation with the Busan Economic Promotion Agency, contributing to the development of overseas markets and strengthening the global competitiveness of local SMEs, while further enhancing students' practical capabilities and supporting the overseas expansion of regional companies.
The final performance report meeting of the 2025 University Student Trade Support Group is being held at the National Pukyong University.
