Korea Investment & Securities Recruiting 32 Types of ELB and ELS Including Online-Exclusive "TRUE ON ELS"

Korea Investment & Securities announced on December 15 that it will launch 32 types of Equity-Linked Bonds (ELB) and Equity-Linked Securities (ELS) products.

TRUE ON ELS No. 427 is an online-exclusive step-down type product based on SK Hynix and Naver as underlying assets. The maturity is three years, and every four months, the prices of the underlying assets are observed. If the price is at least 90% of the initial reference price at 4 months, 85% at 8 months, 80% at 12 and 16 months, 75% at 20 months, 70% at 24 months, 65% at 28 months, and 60% at 32 months (maturity), the product is redeemed with an annual yield of 22.92%.

TRUE ELS No. 18381 is a stock settlement-type ELS based on NVIDIA and Broadcom as underlying assets. In a stock settlement-type structure, if a loss occurs at maturity, the stock among the underlying assets with the largest price decline is delivered instead of cash. The product matures in three years, and early redemption is assessed every six months. If the underlying asset is at least 90% of the initial reference price at 6 months, 80% at 12 months, 75% at 18 months, 70% at 24 months, 65% at 30 months, and 55% at maturity, the product is redeemed with an annual yield of 11.60%.

For both products, even if the early redemption condition is not met, if there is no underlying asset that falls below 45% and 30% of the initial reference price, respectively, during the investment period, the agreed yield will be paid at maturity. However, if the underlying asset falls below those levels, losses of 40-100% and 45-100% of the principal, respectively, may occur.

The subscription period for these newly launched products varies by product. For TRUE ELS, 21 types are available for subscription by individual investors from December 15 to 16, followed by a cooling-off period from December 17 to 18, and final confirmation of subscription intent between 10 a.m. on December 19 and 22. For TRUE ON ELS online-exclusive products, 11 types are available for subscription from December 15 to 19, with a cooling-off period from December 22 to 23, and final confirmation of subscription intent by 10 a.m. on December 24 to 26.
