Hyundai Motor Club Reaches 124,000 Members
Hyundai Motor Company announced on December 15 that it held a commemorative event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its official brand fandom, the Hyundai Motor Club.
The event, which took place from December 13 to 14 at Inspire Entertainment Resort in Jung-gu, Incheon, was attended by 277 families of outstanding Hyundai Motor Club members and 19 members from Hyundai Motor Club Japan. The program included a variety of activities, such as a 10th anniversary heritage photo contest exhibition and an awards ceremony for outstanding members.
The Hyundai Motor Club began in 2015 as a gathering for people who own and love Hyundai vehicles. Today, it has grown to include approximately 124,000 active members.
In addition to automotive-related activities such as operating the amateur racing team "Team HMC," the Hyundai Motor Club also leads a healthy car fandom culture by engaging in various social contribution initiatives for underserved areas. These include building stations in transportation-challenged regions and organizing drive-in movie theaters for communities lacking access to transportation and cultural experiences.

By supporting the activities of the Hyundai Motor Club, Hyundai Motor Company has established a virtuous cycle that encourages customers to voluntarily promote the competitiveness and unique value of Hyundai vehicles. At the same time, the company actively embraces constructive criticism and feedback from highly engaged customers to develop its products and services.
Notably, in August, Hyundai Motor Club Japan-the company's first official overseas brand fandom, modeled after the success of the original Hyundai Motor Club-was launched. It is making significant contributions to understanding local customer needs and enhancing Hyundai's brand recognition in Japan.
Kim Seungchan, Head of Domestic Business at Hyundai Motor Company, stated, "Over the past decade, the Hyundai Motor Club has grown beyond a simple car enthusiast group into a brand fandom built on the passion and trust of customers who love Hyundai. We will continue to support the Hyundai Motor Club so that it can serve as the central platform leading the 'global Hyundai brand fandom.'"
