On December 15, Pulmuone Danone announced that it will introduce YoPRO, the premium high-protein yogurt brand that French company Danone has launched in 23 countries worldwide, to the Korean market.


YoPRO is a premium high-protein yogurt brand from Danone, the world's top-selling company with 100 years of fermentation expertise. Since 2015, it has been introduced in 23 countries under the brands 'YoPRO', 'GetPRO', 'HiPRO', and 'OIKOS', tailored to the characteristics of consumers in each country.


YoPRO contains a high amount of protein, nine essential amino acids, and BCAAs, allowing users to conveniently supplement protein at moments requiring peak performance. As the 'active lifestyle' trend of incorporating exercise into daily life spreads globally, YoPRO has established itself as a popular yogurt product that allows consumers to enjoy protein in a delicious and convenient way.


The YoPRO product that Pulmuone Danone is introducing to the Korean market has been optimized for local consumers by leveraging Danone's global expertise and know-how. With the ongoing trend of health management through diet and exercise in Korea, Pulmuone Danone aims to actively target consumers seeking a balanced lifestyle with its high-protein yogurt brand YoPRO, and to lead the expansion of the yogurt category in the rapidly growing protein market each year.


Pulmuone Danone YoPRO contains 15 grams of protein per 150-gram cup (sugar-free plain variety), enabling consumers to quickly and conveniently consume ample protein. As a 'complete protein' yogurt containing nine essential amino acids, it also includes up to 3,500 mg of three types of BCAAs (sugar-free plain variety). In addition, as a lactose-free product, it is suitable for consumers sensitive to lactose, and with 0% fat and a sugar-free line, it is also ideal for those mindful of fat and sugar intake. The initial launch includes two varieties: 'Sugar-Free Plain' and 'Blueberry', both popular with consumers.
