Approximately 60 people attended the training, including Vice Governor for Administrative Affairs Yeo Jung-hyup, directors of departments, and heads of affiliated organizations. The training focused on strengthening the sense of responsibility and sensitivity that leaders must possess to prevent sexual misconduct within the organization.

The training was led by Dr. Min Sujin, Senior Research Fellow at the Korean Institute of Criminology and Executive Director of the Korean Criminological Association, who provided a multifaceted explanation of the roles and leadership responsibilities that managers in the public sector must fulfill, based on real-life cases.

Vice Governor Yeo Jung-hyup emphasized, "Sexual harassment and sexual violence are serious issues that not only violate individual dignity but also undermine the trust and integrity of the organization," adding, "The small actions and attention of senior officials are the starting point for building a safe and trustworthy organizational culture."

Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province plans to further strengthen efforts to foster a sound and responsible public service culture by continuously expanding effective prevention training not only for senior officials but for all employees.
