The mutual donation ceremony was attended by Koo Bokgyu, Mayor of Hwasun County; Choi Wooyoung, Head of Hwasun Branch; Bang Hyunyong, Head of Gokseong Branch; Jeong Samcha, Chairman of Hwasun Livestock Cooperative; Kim Hyeongjo, Chairman of Gokseong Livestock Cooperative; Park Jonggyun, Executive Director of Hwasun Livestock Cooperative; Shin Ilsu, Managing Director of Gokseong Livestock Cooperative; Han Donghun, Executive Director of Gokseong Livestock Cooperative; and Shin Jeonghwa, Head of Administration at Gokseong County Office. The participants reaffirmed their commitment to revitalizing the hometown love donation program through interregional exchange.
In particular, Hwasun Livestock Cooperative has actively participated in expanding the hometown love donation program in Hwasun County by engaging in a second mutual donation this year, following a similar donation with Jeju Wimi Agricultural Cooperative in the first half of the year.
Jeong Samcha, Chairman of Hwasun Livestock Cooperative, stated, “It is even more meaningful to participate once again in a mutual hometown love donation with Gokseong Livestock Cooperative, following last year’s initiative. As we are well aware of the county’s efforts to develop agriculture and rural areas, the cooperative will also strive to grow together with the local community.”
Kim Hyeongjo, Chairman of Gokseong Livestock Cooperative, said, “I hope this mutual donation will contribute to the co-prosperity of Gokseong and Hwasun. Since providing hometown love donation gifts plays a significant role in expanding the market for local agricultural and livestock products, we will continue to actively participate in mutual donations.”
Koo Bokgyu, Mayor of Hwasun County, expressed his gratitude, saying, “I deeply appreciate the executives and staff of Hwasun Livestock Cooperative and Gokseong Livestock Cooperative for taking the lead in mutual donations. The county will continue to provide interest and support so that the hometown love donation program can lead to increased consumption of local agricultural and livestock products and revitalize the local economy.”
He added, “The representative brand of Hwasun Livestock Cooperative, ‘Jeokbyeok Hanwoo,’ is recognized for its outstanding quality, ranking among the top in sales at Hwasun Farm, and has established itself as a leading local brand.”
