Collapse at Gwangju Metropolitan Library Construction Site... Two Workers Trapped

At around 1:58 p.m. on December 11, 2025, a steel structure collapsed at the construction site of the Gwangju Metropolitan Library in Seo-gu, Gwangju.

According to the Gwangju Metropolitan Police Agency, it was reported that two workers at the site were trapped under the structure as a result of the accident.

The fire authorities are conducting rescue operations and are also investigating whether there are any additional casualties.
