Trainer Certification and Handler Specialist Courses
The Department of Pet Grooming and Behavior Correction at Dongmyung University successfully concluded the 'TU pet-B·E·S·T Academy,' a global talent development program tailored for the local pet industry, which was held from November 7 to December 2, 2025.
This program consisted of a total of five sessions and was divided into a trainer certification course and a handler specialist course.
The curriculum was designed to systematically nurture professionals required by the local pet industry, with a balanced combination of theory and practical training.
As the importance of professionals with specialized skills is increasing in the rapidly growing pet market, the program was structured to enable students to acquire immediately applicable skills for the industry.
The trainer course focused on dog training and understanding animal behavior, while the handler course emphasized pet safety management and handling techniques.
The educational achievements of the Department of Pet Grooming and Behavior Correction are expected to have positive effects, such as securing a pool of skilled professionals, improving the overall service quality, and enhancing the competitiveness of the local pet industry.
