The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education received the Bronze Award (Minister of the Interior and Safety Award) for its outstanding policy at the "2025 Government Innovation Grand Final" hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
The "Government Innovation Grand Final" is a program that evaluates and awards policies submitted by central government agencies, local governments, and public institutions in various fields. It is implemented by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to spread exemplary policy cases among institutions and enhance the achievements of government innovation.
Out of a total of 513 entries, the "Policy Purchase System" of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education was selected as one of the final 41 policies to pass expert review and become subject to public evaluation.
The Policy Purchase System moves away from institution-led policy formulation, allowing the educational community to directly diagnose issues at schools, propose policies, and turn the real voices from the field into policy measures.
Over the past year, the "e-Policy Marketplace" has established a system that enables autonomous policy participation and communication 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. As a result, it has become a key communication channel for the field, with an average of about 250 daily visits.
In particular, among the types of the Policy Purchase System, the "Content Proposal Contest" allows teachers, who are field experts, to upload materials they have developed. This helps create a virtuous cycle in education by accumulating and sharing these resources as public educational assets.
In December this year, the "e-Policy Marketplace" was newly revamped with various functional improvements, including mileage inquiry and management, checking the results of unadopted proposals, access to the Education Digital One Pass, and design changes.
To celebrate the renewal, the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will hold events such as "Find the New Features!" and "Stories of Adopted Proposals" for five days starting from the 16th.
